The sounds and barks I make…

Communicating when I bark

A steady rhythmic bark means I’m warning my handler of danger:

A few barks followed by waiting is me trying to communicate with someone, then listening for a response.

My deep growl communicates anger, warning, or fear.

If I yelp it means I’m excited, playful, or anxious.

Crying or whining means I’m hurt.
